Aerial Yoga Fundamentals Workshop
Aerial yoga is a practice that utilizes a silk hammock suspended from the ceiling, and is designed to provide support while improving flexibility and range of motion. Benefits of this anti-gravity yoga practice also include strength training and decompression of the spine. In this workshop, Christine will guide you through foundation techniques, providing you with confidence and comfort as you practice poses in the hammock. This workshop is appropriate for all levels, including those brand new to yoga (aerial or otherwise).

Enjoy a sense of play and build your confidence as you learn a variety of movement patterns in the silks. Yoga Nidra can help alleviate fatigue, stress and anxiety as you experience deep rest and relaxation through guided meditation. Join Linda Dilmore as she not only guides you into meaningful rest, but teaches you controlled breathing techniques, setting intention, and gentle stretching. Yoga Nidra meditation will take place in aerial silks floating just above the ground.
Sound Healing taps into your body's own wisdom to promote healing, mindfulness, and peace through vibration, energy, and stillness. Guest instructor, Lisa Despres will take you on a journey using crystal bowls, Himalayan bowls, symphonic Paiste gong, vocal toning, chimes, and more. Loose layers are suggested as your body temperature might fluctuate throughout the sound bath. You may want to bring your own mat and blanket, but they will also be provided to you.
