Want to banish the phrase “There’s nothing to do” from your child’s vocabulary? Here’s a solution you’ll both love — hanging at the Youth and Teen Center (YTC) at The Barn!

We provide preteens and teens in 6th-12th grade with a fun, supportive place to call their own. Young people will enjoy making new friends, recreational activities, and our mentorship programs. Parents will appreciate our safe, positive environment for connect with one another and the community.

The Youth and Teen Center at The Barn is a multi-purpose, two-story facility where teens can access a computer lab, watch movies, play Wii or XBOX on a large flat screen TV, or enjoy billiard tables, air hockey, ping pong and various board games in the recreation room. Our upstairs area features a mini gym for basketball, volleyball and other games and activities, as well as a snack bar. The YTC partners with the Maryland Food Bank to provide nutritious snacks after school.

Our programs and activities are available throughout the year after school, during the summer time, and occasionally on weekends.
