Three Ways To Practice Tennis Using a Wall
When it comes to tennis training, you might be surprised by how much you can do with just a wall, ball and racquet.
According to CA Adult Tennis Director Anna Pomyatinskaya, practicing against a wall is the perfect way to keep your skills sharp. It’s great for rainy days or when you can’t find a partner — and it doesn’t hurt that it’s always available.
The wall isn’t just a last-minute option, either. It provides an unrivaled opportunity to work on your control and reflexes. No matter what your goals are, the wall is a consistent ally that will help you improve (and introverts will appreciate the lack of distracting chit-chat!).
Below, Pomyatinskaya shares three simple drills you can try at home. To keep yourself safe, remember not to hit too hard at first. We hope you enjoy!
