CA begins search for next President/CEO
Columbia Association (CA) is officially launching the hiring process for the organization’s next President/CEO. This leader will continue CA’s decades-long legacy of service to the Columbia community.

Recruitment firm TransPro Executive Placement is assisting in this nationwide search, committed to curating a highly skilled and experienced pool of candidates.
Interim President/CEO Dennis Mattey is scheduled to end his tenure on April 30, 2024. Mattey has been part of CA for 50 years. Most recently, he served as the Vice President of Community Operations, overseeing open space, sustainability, capital improvements, real estate services and events programming.
Timeline for hiring CA’s next President/CEO
TransPro Executive Placement is now in the recruitment stage of the process. Following the solicitation of candidates, TransPro will work with CA’s Board of Directors and senior leadership to select finalists for interviews. Identities of applicants will be kept confidential as the anonymity of candidates is important during recruitment.
Ultimately, the Board of Directors will select the candidate who will receive the job offer. The goal is to have that finalist selected by March 2024 with employment tentatively beginning by the start of the upcoming fiscal year in May 2024.
