Columbia Art Center and Stonehouse (where the Long Reach Village Association is based) will undergo facility renovations with the creation of a new entrance and elevator. In addition, the Art Center studios on both levels, and offices, gallery shop, and kitchen will experience necessary structural enhancements, including sprinkler systems and storage spaces.
Closure Dates
The Columbia Art Center will be closed starting Mid-October. The closure will run through early 2025. During this time, classes will be held at alternative locations.

Why can’t part of the Columbia Art Center remain open while the renovations are being done?
Due to the scope of the project, the Art Center will not be safe or healthy for use by the Art Center team and students.
Will classes be offered in any capacity at another location?
Yes. Current alternative locations include the Stonehouse at Long Reach Village Center and the Youth & Teen Center.
Will exhibits continue in some format?
Unfortunately, most exhibits won’t be able to take place during these renovations. Exhibits will resume in 2025.
What if I need to contact the Columbia Art Center?
Columbia Art Center’s office team will be housed next door at Stonehouse and will be available by phone, email and in-person visits (during certain hours).
