Same Columbia Horse Center, Different Operators
Columbia Association (CA) is pleased to announce an agreement with Morningside Stables, LLC, to take over operations of Columbia Horse Center. The 10-year lease will go into effect on January 1, 2021.
Morningside Stables is a family-run business. Stephanie and Derek Brigham are passionate about horses, top notch care and quality customer service. The Brigham’s currently operate two full-service equestrian centers in Anne Arundel County and are excited to bring their expertise to Howard County. Under the new agreement, up to 60 horses will be allowed on the 88-acre credited open space property.
CA appreciates everything Mike Smith and his team have done for the Horse Center over the past 20 years. We will work closely with the current operator, new lessee and boarders over the next few months to ensure there is no interruption in care during this transition.
