Columbia Association extends contract with President/CEO Milton W. Matthews into 2019
Columbia Association’s (CA) Board of Directors is pleased to announce that President/CEO Milton W. Matthews has accepted a new three-year contract.
“The Board has been impressed with Milton’s strong leadership and his outreach to the community,” said Andrew Stack, chairman of CA’s Board of Directors. “During the past two years Milton has enhanced our relationship with our partners and stakeholders, conducted a zero-based review of CA’s budget, relocated CA’s headquarters and designed a new membership structure. The Board looks forward to working with Milton over the next three years to enhance CA’s mission of providing services to the people of Columbia.”
Matthews’ new contract started on May 1, 2016 and runs through April 30, 2019. He began with Columbia Association in June 2014.
“I am very appreciative of the Board for granting me the opportunity to continue as president and CEO of CA,” Matthews said. “I am very excited about the continued redevelopment projects in the Columbia community; Columbia’s upcoming 50th birthday celebration; continuing to build and grow relationships with our community partners; and working on behalf of all the stakeholders in the Columbia community, including our residents. I look forward to continuing to work with CA staff at all levels toward the goals in CA’s strategic plan, in particular the goal of being a high-performing and responsive organization.”
