[3/25/24] This year’s River Hill election is uncontested. There are two candidates for the two openings on the River Hill village board. Elections will still take place on Saturday, April 20.

Save the date:

  • Friday, March 1-Thursday, March 21: Candidate petitions are available at Claret Hall, in The Villager newsletter and on the River Hill Community Association website.
  • Thursday, March 21: Deadline for nomination petitions, candidate statements, and headshots by electronic transmission to manager@villageofriverhill.org and newsletter@villageofriverhill.org at noon.
  • Monday, April 8: Candidate forum will be held on Zoom from 7-9pm.
  • Saturday, April 20: Election Day! In-person voting is open at Claret Hall from 9am-3pm.

Who can vote:

  • All residents 18 years old and older are eligible to vote.

How to vote:

  • You can vote via absentee ballot or in-person.
  • Residents can request absentee ballots in writing (via email at manager@villageofriverhill.org or letter) from April 1-11.
  • Residents can request absentee ballots in-person at Claret Hall from April 1-19 from 9am-5pm (absentee ballots are not available on Saturdays and Sundays).
  • In-person and email requests for absentee ballots must be accompanied by proof of person, age and residency (a driver’s license and passport).
  • A lockbox is located on the front of Claret Hall to the right of the front doors to deposit the completed ballots after office hours.

Save the date:

  • Monday, April 1-Thursday, April 11: Absentee ballots may be obtained by email (manager@villageofriverhill.org) by providing proof of person, age and residency.
  • Monday, April 1-Friday April 19: An in-person request for an absentee ballot can be made in person at Claret Hall from 9am to 5pm (absentee ballots are not available on Saturdays and Sundays).
  • Friday, April 19: All absentee ballots must be received at Claret Hall by midnight.
  • Saturday, April 20: Election day! In-person voting is open at Claret Hall from 9am-3pm.
