Collage is the process of grouping materials together and adhering them to a backing such as a board, canvas, or paper, using decoupage techniques with glue. Materials to collage include magazine pictures, photographs, fabric, letters, words, buttons and more! Collages can be one-dimensional or three dimensional. The collage workshops offered at Columbia Art Center teach you about material choices, color selection, and composition.
