This upgrade is a substantial improvement and modernization of our online portal and mobile app that will make it easier to find classes, manage reservations, access and manage membership information, and to stay informed about everything CA has to offer.
General Questions
When will the upgrade occur?
The current system, which is accessed through the “Member Login” link on the CA website and the existing Columbia Association mobile app, will remain active through the end of Monday, November 18, 2024, although some reservation options will be removed as we get close to the transition. The new CA Portal, which will still be accessed through the same “Member Login” link, will be available on the morning of Tuesday, November 19, 2024. The new CA App (mobile app available for iOS and Android devices) will be available starting Monday, November 25, 2024.
Why is CA doing this Upgrade?
We’re upgrading to improve and streamline the member experience with new software, which will make it easier for you to access and manage your account, classes, reservations, and more. The new system will be more intuitive, more user-friendly, and a better all-round experience for everyone that uses it.
Will there be any downtime or disruption to services during the upgrade?
We are working hard to ensure a smooth transition with minimal downtime. If any service interruptions occur, we are committed to providing clear and timely information in advance and through any interruptions through our website and other channels.
Portal and App Features
What new features will the CA Portal and CA App include?
The upgraded systems will allow you to easily search and book classes, make and manage reservations, view and update your membership information, and more—all in one place.
How do I access the new member portal?
Once the upgrade occurs, you will be able to access the portal through our website using the same link “Member Login” link that exists today. If you have directly bookmarked the existing portal homepage, you will need to access the new CA Portal staring on November 19th and update your bookmark.
Will I need to download a new mobile app?
If you are going to make use of the new CA App (which we highly recommend), you will need to download it, as this is a replacement mobile app and not an “update” to the existing one. The existing Columbia Association mobile app will be removed from the Apple and Google app stores when the new app is available, starting Monday, November 25th.
Account and Membership
Will I need to create a new account?
Anyone with a current account will have their account information moved to the new system, however all users will need to login with new credentials starting Tuesday, November 19th. You will be sent login information and instructions via email, and instructions and support will be provided on this website and through our support and facility teams during the transition. These instructions will be sent during November ahead of the transition. In the meantime, we recommend you confirming your current email address by contacting our Customer Care team at CustomerCare@ColumbiaAssociation.org or calling us at 410-730-1801 (9 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday).
Will my membership details or class reservations be affected by the upgrade?
All your membership information and current reservations will be automatically transferred to the new system.
