Columbia’s 50th Birthday Celebration culminated on Sunday, October 1, 2017 with an evening of special events.
The newly restored village neighborhood posters, placed in Kennedy Gardens on the far side of Lake Kittamaqundi, were dedicated. Artist Gail Holliday, who created the original murals in the late ‘60s and ‘70s, spoke of her joy in their renewal and permanent location.
