As the Director of Marketing at Columbia Association, Tim Pinel is responsible for creating and accelerating the organization’s marketing strategy and brand recognition throughout the region. He is focused on driving the organization’s vision of enhancing the quality of life of everyone in Columbia by raising awareness of the range of programs, memberships and services offered by CA.

Previously, Tim was the Marketing Director for the Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development, responsible for the promotion of the department’s flagship Maryland Mortgage Program, small business lending through the Neighborhood BusinessWorks program and pooled bond programs through the Local Government Infrastructure Program.

He has degrees in both chemical engineering and economics from the University of Queensland. Tim enjoys family time, home renovations and coaching junior soccer. His favorite Columbia tradition is cheering on his daughter at the annual All-City Columbia Neighborhood Swim League Meet.
