Interested candidates for CA Board of Directors invited to information sessions
Are you interested in serving the community?
Columbia’s village elections are coming up soon! And this year, seven villages will hold elections to fill seats on Columbia Association’s (CA) Board of Directors.
That’s why Columbia Association is hosting information sessions in February 2019 — so that anyone interested can learn more about CA, ask questions, meet CA President/CEO Milton W. Matthews, and understand more about serving on CA’s Board of Directors.
The sessions will be held on Tuesday, February 19 at 7pm and Saturday, February 23 at 10am, both at CA Headquarters, 6310 Hillside Court, located off Stevens Forest Road and Broken Land Parkway.
CA’s Board of Directors has 11 members — one representative from each of Columbia’s 10 villages plus CA’s President/CEO. Representatives from the villages serve either a one- or two-year term, depending upon each village’s bylaws. In late April 2019, seven villages will hold elections to fill seven seats on CA’s Board of Directors:

- Hickory Ridge
- Kings Contrivance
- Long Reach
- Oakland Mills
- River Hill
- Wilde Lake
