The Learn to Skateboard program is a great way for skateboarders to learn and to improve their skateboarding skills. Skaters will learn the fundamentals of skateboarding based upon their current skill level. Maintaining a very low ratio of student to instructor will allow for more quality instruction for each skater.
Skaters will need to have their own boards. There may be a few boards available, however they must be reserved prior to class and it is on a first reserve basis. Each skater must wear a helmet and pads while skating. If they do not have a helmet and pads there is a limited amount available that can be borrowed.
Skaters will take a break during their lesson each day to stay hydrated and enjoy a snack. Parents need to provide plenty of water and a snack for their half time break. Drinks, snacks and ICEE’s are available to purchase at the snackbar if needed.
