Pablo R. Perillan, MD, PhD

Performance Expert & Technology Coaching Lead

Email: pablo.perillan@columbiaassociation.org

Pablo R. Perillan, MD, PhD, brings one of the most distinctive coaching backgrounds in the Mid‑Atlantic region to CA Golf. A physician‑scientist with a clinical foundation in neuroscience research, Dr. Perillan has held active coaching certifications and experience across six sports disciplines: alpine skiing (PSIA), clay target shooting (NSCA), tennis, hockey, pickleball, and SCUBA diving (Nitrox). This cross‑disciplinary portfolio shapes everything he does on the lesson tee — because the movement patterns, mental frameworks, and performance habits that create elite athletes translate across multiple sports.

Dr. Perillan is also a recognized expert in Quiet Eye visual performance training — the research‑validated gaze‑control methodology shown to improve accuracy, decision‑making, and performance under pressure in golf, shooting, hockey, and tennis. He integrates Quiet Eye and Elite Neurophysiological Training principles into every coaching engagement, from putting routines to full‑swing contact, giving students a perceptual training edge that most instructors never address.

At CA Golf, Dr. Perillan leads the Golf Performance Studio and the CA Technology Stack — combining FlightScope launch monitor analytics, Rapsodo ball‑flight data, and OnForm 3D video analysis into a seamlessly integrated coaching experience. He co‑developed LaunchPoint LegacyGolf (LPLG) with Director Joan Lovelace, LPGA & PGA, and is the creator of Golden Hour: Clinics — CA Golf’s signature after‑hours on‑course coaching program held at Hobbits Glen and Fairway Hills after the last tee time. Whether you are stepping onto a course for the first time or refining a game you have played for decades, Dr. Perillan builds a plan grounded in your data, your goals, and your game.
