At Columbia Association Golf, learning the game is clear, welcoming, purposeful—and fun. From first swings to advanced play, our programs at Hobbit’s Glen and Fairway Hills are designed to meet golfers where they are and guide them forward with confidence. Led by Joan Lovelace, a dual PGA & LGPA-certified professional, our structured classes and personalized lessons help golfers build skill, improve consistency, and enjoy the game for life.

Track 1: Discovery — Welcome to the Game

Whether you’re new to golf, returning after time away, or introducing your child to the game for the first time, Discovery programs are designed to make learning clear, welcoming, and fun. Golfers build foundational skills in a supportive environment, gain early on-course experience, and develop confidence step by step. No prior experience is required—just a willingness to learn and enjoy the game.

Track 2: Development — Build Skill. Learn to Score

For golfers who understand the basics and are ready to improve, Development programs turn fundamentals into reliable performance. Players strengthen ball striking, refine short game control, and gain confidence on the course through structured practice and guided play. Each offering builds naturally on the Discovery stage and prepares golfers for stronger scoring and more consistent rounds.

Track 3: Mastery — Performance & Preparation

Mastery programs are designed for committed golfers seeking higher performance and competitive readiness. This track focuses on advanced skill refinement, scoring strategy, and performing with confidence under pressure. Ideal for golfers who have progressed through Development or are ready for structured, performance-oriented training.
