Description
The Teen Advisory Committee is available for youth ages 13-19, and the Middle School and Teen Advisory Committee is available for youth ages 11-13. Make a difference, get involved and be an integral part of the solution all while having fun and making friends. These two committees get young people involved in their community by planning, organizing and implementing positive programs and activities for their peers. In the process, they gain self-confidence and leadership experience. The commitment is to attend monthly meetings held at The Barn (Oakland Mills Village Center) and to assist with the planning and implementing of various youth-led events.
