Make Summer Memories with CA
Summer is in full swing, and there’s no shortage of ways to get outside, try something new and make some core memories with loved ones along the way.
Show your lake love 💙
July is Lake Appreciation Month! Whether you’re fishing, picnicking or simply taking in the view at one of CA’s lakes, there’s no better place to celebrate than Columbia.
To help you celebrate, we’re inviting you to share your favorite moments through CA’s “Lake Through Your Lens” photo contest. Submit up to three photos of Lake Kittamaqundi, Lake Elkhorn and Wilde Lake to Communications@ColumbiaAssociation.org by Wednesday, July 1 for a chance to be featured.
Lakefront Live continues 🎉
The weather may have postponed Teen Night, but we are working on a new date! Stay tuned for that update. Teens can still look forward to a night of free, safe fun, with a DJ, LED mini golf, a TikTok-style ball pit, air hockey, chess, yard games, local food trucks and more. And the free fun doesn’t stop there. Dancin’ Under the People Tree and movie nights are still going strong each week and open to all ages.
Teen summer excursions 📸
There’s more fun ahead for teens…The Youth & Teen Center is heading out all summer long with exciting excursions designed to keep teens in the community active and engaged. From white water rafting to day trips to nearby cities, check out this summer’s opportunities here.
Meet your neighbors at CA’s pools 🏊🏽
Nothing says summer like a day at the pool. The Columbia Neighborhood Swim League (CNSL) season is underway, and Saturday swim meets are a great way to support your neighborhood swim team while enjoying community spirit. Throughout the summer, CNSL swimmers create lasting memories with their teammates, and the community joins in the fun by cheering them on from the sidelines. See what swim meets are happening at your local pool and celebrate with your neighbors.
