CA Earns 2021 ENERGY STAR® Excellence in Marketing Award
Columbia Association (CA) is proud to announce that it has received the 2021 ENERGY STAR Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy.
CA, an ENERGY STAR partner since 2012, has been honored for Excellence in ENERGY STAR Marketing.
“We are excited to be recognized as a leader in promoting efforts to reduce energy consumption, lower utility costs, and protect the climate,” said Jeremy Scharfenberg, CA energy manager. “Over the last eight years, CA has worked aggressively throughout its building portfolio to advance clean energy practices and promote ENERGY STAR programs in the community. ENERGY STAR products and programs are some of the most effective ways members of our community can reduce the threat of climate change.”
“ENERGY STAR award-winning partners are showing the world that delivering real climate solutions makes good business sense and promotes job growth,” said EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan. “Many of them have been doing it for years, inspiring all of us who are committed to tackling the climate crisis and leading the way to a clean energy economy.”
Each year, the ENERGY STAR program honors a group of businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy achievements. ENERGY STAR Award Winners lead their industries in the production, sale, and adoption of energy-efficient products, services, and strategies. These efforts are essential to fighting the climate crisis and protecting public health.
