[Updated 3/24/26] There are seven candidates for five open positions on the Wilde Lake village board. See list of candidates below. There is one candidate for one open position on the Columbia Council, meaning this candidate is deemed elected.

Save the date:

  • Wednesday, March 18: Nomination petitions due by 5pm.
  • Thursday, April 9: Candidates’ night at Slayton House

  • Lawrence Schoen
  • Andrea Thorin

Columbia Council representative (deemed elected):

  • William (Bill) Santos*

Who can vote:  

  • Owners or renters in compliance with Wilde Lake covenants.  
  • Renters/tenants must have a copy of their current lease on file to cast a ballot. These can be submitted to Slayton House by Friday, April 24 at 4pm, or voters can also a bring a copy on Election Day. 

How to vote: 

Save the date: 

  • Friday, April 24: Online votes and absentee ballots are due by 4pm.  
  • Saturday, April 25: Election day! In-person voting is open at Slayton House from 9am-2pm.
