[Updated 3/24/26] Because the number of nominees for the Hickory Ridge village board is equal to the number of open board seats, they are deemed automatically elected. However, there is a contested election for the Columbia Council representative this year. See below for the list of candidates.

- Village board: 5

Save the date:
- Monday, March 16: Candidate packets due by 5pm.
- Monday, April 6: Virtual candidate forum at 7pm.
- Thursday, April 16: In-person candidate forum at 7pm at the Hawthorn Center.
Vote
Hickory Ridge village board candidates* (deemed elected):
- Mark Covington
- Mariah Robertson
Columbia Council representative candidates:
- Micajah McGarity
- Skye Anderson
Who can vote:
- Owners and renters in compliance with Hickory Ridge covenants.
- One vote per household. In the case of a rental property, both owner and renter may cast a ballot.
How to vote:
- You can vote in-person or via mail-in absentee ballot.
- Absentee ballots may be mailed in or dropped off to The Hawthorn Center.
- When voting in-person, remember to bring ID that verifies your residency.
Save the date:
- Early April: Absentee ballots will be mailed to each household in Hickory Ridge. Ballots may be returned via mail or dropped off at The Hawthorn Center during operating hours.
- Friday, April 24: Mail-in absentee ballots are due by 5pm.
- Saturday, April 25: Election day! In-person voting is open from 9am-12pm at The Hawthorn Center.
