Beat the Late Winter Blues with Columbia Association
The best way to power through winter’s final stretch? Together 💙💚. While we count down to spring, Columbia Association (CA) has plenty of ways for you to move, connect and have fun. Let’s make these last winter weeks count!
Dance the winter away with Afrobeats
Shake it off at our Afrobeats Bash & Blend at Supreme Sports Club on Wednesday, March 4 (6-8pm). Enjoy an Afrobeats dance class followed by a live DJ set, games, raffles and local vendors. Learn more here.
Be part of the conversation
Join us for the Change in Columbia Speaker Series on Wednesday, March 11 (6-8pm) at Amherst House for a candid talk on how social isolation affects wellbeing and how we can strengthen our community connections. Childcare available with preregistration. RSVP here.
Keep the littles entertained
Swibit Sundays at the Columbia Swim Center (11am-4pm) bring slides and splash-worthy fun every weekend. Or try Around the World: Creative Storytime & Movement at Columbia Art Center (next: Wednesday, March 18) for a global adventure in music and movement for ages 5-7.
Get moving on the pathways
Your sign to get outside: The Lake Kittamaqundi loop is officially reopened! While you’re out, stop by Lake Elkhorn and scan the QR codes on the new “Discover CA” signs to learn more about things to do nearby.
Make a difference in your community
The deadlines for candidate applications are fast approaching in many villages! Serving on your village board or CA’s Board of Directors is a great way to get involved in local decision-making. Visit ColumbiaAssociation.org/vote to learn more about running or voting in April’s elections.
