Change in Columbia Speaker Series
Moderated by
The Change in Columbia Speaker Series is back, and we’re talking about a subject that impacts all of us: climate change. The effects can already be felt throughout our community and beyond, but there are things we can all do to adapt to our new reality and make a difference.
Join us for an interactive session, and hear from our expert panel about recent discoveries, the latest approaches and what we can all do to address climate change in our own lives.
Panelists include:
- Avery Farrell – Sustainability Projects Manager, Howard County Office of Community Sustainability
- Stephen Pantano – Head of Market Transformation, Rewiring America
- Jeremy Scharfenberg – Interim Director of Community Operations, Columbia Association
The panel discussion will be moderated by The Baltimore Banner Newsletter Writer Cody Boteler.
Childcare (preregistration required below) and light snacks will be provided. You can also tune into the panel discussion via Zoom. Click here to register for that virtual option.
- 6-6:30pm – interactive session
- 6:30-8pm – panel discussion
NOTE: The in-person interactive session will take place during the first half hour of this event. The panel discussion will begin at 6:30pm. If you’re tuning in virtually, the official presentation will not start until 6:30pm.
